Loyalty is everything to Turf Net Sports Supplies owner/president Tim Proctor.
It’s the loyalty that his customers show him by coming back year after year, and the loyalty he shows to his customers by providing
service that goes above and beyond.
How many golf companies do you know of where the owner will give you his personal cell phone number so you can call him, even on the weekend, if you have a problem? Tim does. In fact, here’s his cell phone number: 905-325-0295. Give him a call. And, if you go onto their website: www.turfnetsportssupplies.com and activate the chat function it will in all likelihood, be Tim that you will be talking to.
Turf Net Sports Supplies has been in business for 16 years and Tim has been part of the golf industry for more than 26 years. They supply golf courses with everything from the tee to the pin as well as the back shop and the pro shop. They also supply driving ranges with everything that they require to open their doors including netting and poles. Turf Net can not only supply the netting and poles and they can also install them, as well as putting the netting up in the spring and taking it down in the fall. And since Tim has been tracking weather patterns across the country for decades he can also as advise on when potentially damaging fall winds for nets are likely to pick up and when potentially disastrous late winter snow and ice storms can occur.
Whether you have a golf course, or a driving range Turf Net provides one stop shopping.
They have been a proud distributor of Wittek for the past 16 years. “They’ve been in business since 1946 and have a great reputation for being there for the customer,” says Proctor. “They build one of the best ball washers and pickers on the market.” Proctor says that because of the turning radius on pickers a lot of stress is put on the first and last discs which can result in breakage. Wittek recognized that problem 10 years ago and changed the plastic discs to solid rubber tires which solved the problem, at least on their pickers. “The wear and tear on their articulating elbows is also far superior to other brands,” says Proctor. “They’ve also come out with a ball washer called The Twist and we’ve sold 21 of them in the last two years and we haven’t had calls about replacing parts on any of them.”
Turf Net also supplies artificial turf for driving ranges and can supply components for golf simulators such as screens, impact nets, turf and mats.
